The Tunnel Under The Cell

Johnny grinned as he was shoved roughly into the lockup. The cops had not found anything on him despite searching him thoroughly. They would have to release him within twenty-four hours. Johnny was sure they would not search him again. Johnny walked over to the centre of the cell and removed a floorboard. He pocketed the diamond left there by Tommy. Tommy could put the diamond there because the escape tunnel they had dug passed right under the state penitentiary. Huh! dumb cops would never imagine they would dare to dig tunnels right under the state penitentiary to smuggle diamonds!

Dear Jai,
Welcome to Friday Fictioneers. If Tommy and Johnny don’t watch it they might find the cops know more than they bargained for.
Shalom,
Rochelle
There is that of course. The police may be smarter than Tommy and Johnny give them credit for.
Sometimes things are so close you don’t see them! Nice one Jai.
Here’s my tale!
Absolutely!
Sounds like a good plan, but they’d better be careful. There are always watchers 🙂
This plan is just a bit too bold and risky.
Methinks they are a tad too cocky… it’s just a question of time before someone buggers up.
They are high IQ criminals and rather too sure of themselves.
