The Drink – #FridayFictioneers

Johnny climbed laboriously up the vertical wall. He had been climbing for a long time and was tired. He rested for a minute and looked up towards the top. The surface had been extremely slippery. He finally reached the top. He began to make his descent down the other side. After some time Johnny finally reached his destination. It had been a tough climb as the surface had been very rugged initially and then there was the downward descent. Nowadays they made the surfaces so smooth, bemoaned Johnny. Shrugging his shoulders Johnny the ant started lapping up the sweet liquid.

Dear Jai,
Quite the long journey indeed. Left me winded.
Shalom,

The last few words took me completely by surprise – excellent!
Here’s my contribution!
Love that little twist! Johnny deserved his drink!
I didn’t know ants had shoulders?! Just kidding. Jai, I feel bad for poor Johnny, as that sweet liquid is probably laced with borax for him to take back to his nest. Good story!
Aw loved the twist at the end. Turned the entire story into a microscopic world. Well done!
Wonderfully imaginative, took me by surprise.
